Since we really enjoyed the zucchini fries that I made last week, I made them again on as a side dish for some burgers.
I love adding a bit more parmesan cheese to them as they come out of the deep fryer. I made some french fries as well, because the hubby wanted them. I think he is getting a little tired of zucchini! I used the meat grinder attachment for my Kitchenaid mixer and ground a chuck roast and a half pound of bacon. I kept the preparation simple by seasoning the meat with some Montreal Steak Seasoning.
I topped my burger with a boatload of cheese, including a slice of blue cheese that I had hanging out in the fridge. I ate mine without a bun, I have been trying to limit the number of carbs I eat in a day and I would rather have a few of the french fries than a bun with my burger. On the plus side, we used up another zucchini, whoo hoo!
